Harvest Moon Bakery began in 2022, started by Montana native Sari Suhr using the same recipes that shaped the generational kitchens she grew up in. What started as custom bakes for friends and family quickly found its way to farmers’ markets, wedding tables, and the shelves of places like Black Rifle Coffee Company and Sonder Montana Co. The growth felt natural because the mission was simple bring traditional, wholesome baked goods to communities across Montana.
Today, Harvest Moon works from a certified commercial kitchen, keeping the focus on intuition, tradition, and real craft. The kind that doesn’t come from factories or conveyor belts. The bakery has become known for its hand twisted cinnamon breads, seasonal old fashioned yeast donuts, and Harvest Chip cookies packed with chocolate. These are bakes made to feel personal, meant to nourish as much as they delight.
You’ll find Harvest Moon at the Livingston and Bozeman Farmers’ Markets, greeting regulars and handing out fresh orders. And this is only the beginning. The goal is to reach more Montana locations, keep tradition alive through every batch, and grow in a way that never loses the small batch care at the heart of the bakery.
